5. Marcedes Lewis, TE

Yes, I am sure Aaron Rodgers would love to keep his receivers around and maybe even add one or two more. With the relationship he looked to be creating with Allen Lazard late in the year, Rodgers must be relieved he is an exclusive restricted free agent.

But Marcedes Lewis doesn’t fill the role like most other receivers do. The tight end was a huge piece of the Packers run game with his great blocking ability, as Aaron Jones had a year to remember with over 1,000 rushing yards and twice as many rushing touchdowns as the previous season. Lewis fills in as an impactful leader and, though he only had 15 receptions, he is still a player the Packers want to keep with their offense.

4. Blake Martinez, LB

The player on the Packers unrestricted free agency list who will probably be the hardest to bring back, Blake Martinez has been a leader for their defense at middle linebacker for the past couple of years.

Ranked second overall in the league this last season in tackles with 155, Martinez has had at least 144 tackles each of the last three years. The linebacker’s shoes would be tough to fill, as he should draw a good amount of attention in free agency. However, if Green Bay can work out the right price, he’s well worth bringing back for the 2020 campaign and beyond.
