52. . Edge. Jacksonville Jaguars. K'Lavon Chaisson. 9. player

A few years ago, the Jacksonville Jaguars seemed to be heading in the right direction after reaching the AFC Championship during the 2017 season, with a stellar defense playing a major role in the team’s impressive run.

Unfortunately, the Jaguars have taken a bit of a step back since then, and certainly made things a little more difficult when they decided to trade Jalen Ramsey before the deadline, although at least it helped earn an additional first-round pick.

Knowing Jacksonville, there’s a good chance the Jaguars to focus on the defensive side of the football this early in the first round, and if this turns out to be the case, K’Lavon Chaisson is a name that will most likely be available once the team is on the clock.

Chaisson was just one of many key defensive players that helped LSU emerge as champions this past season, as his athletic ability on the edge has proven to be a nightmare for opponents over the years.

The Jaguars realize their best chance of bouncing back as a top contender in the AFC next season will most likely come down to how the defense looks since their division alone is filled with numerous competitive teams.

A rookie like Chaisson isn’t going to solve all of the issues the team has been dealing with over the last two years, but this kind of addition would be another positive step in the right direction for the defense.
