Cleveland Browns. Isaiah Simmons. 10. player. 53. . Linebacker

To say the Cleveland Browns failed to live up to expectations in 2019 would be a huge understatement when considering this was a team many believed were capable of reaching the Super Bowl, only to end up winning just six games.

While expectations will be high for the offense now that Kevin Stefanski is on board as the new head coach, the Browns also realize their defense will need to play on a higher level in 2020, or it could result in another year of watching the playoffs from home.

On a positive note, as disappointing as it was to watch Cleveland fail to live up to the hype once again, at least the 6-10 record resulted in the Browns landing a high pick in the first round at No. 10.

Thanks to Isaiah Simmons, Clemson has been fortunate enough to have one of the nation’s top defenses over the last couple of years, and it’s only a matter of time before the defender is making a similar impact at the NFL level.

What makes Simmons even more intriguing for the Browns is his ability to play multiple positions after spending the first few years for the Tigers at safety before making the switch to linebacker in 2019.

With his athletic ability, Simmons seems like he would be a great fit in Cleveland, and help put the team in better position to finally put that overdue playoff drought to an end.
