4. Patrick Queen, LSU

Unlike Murray, Patrick Queen did not start all three seasons at LSU. In fact, he didn’t start until 2019. But after a phenomenal season as part of the national champion Tigers, he has been rising up draft boards. Queen has elevated himself to a late first-round or early second-round pick and the Eagles most certainly could draft him.

He’s an incredible athlete and phenomenal tackler. Along with Grant Delpit and Kristian Fulton, Queen was an integral piece of the defense to LSU’s championship run. Queen had 85 tackles, three sacks and an interception (off of Tua Tagovailoa) in 2019. Just as impressively, he played his best football in the College Football Playoff. His effectiveness should translate to the next level and, more importantly, he could only get better given his lack of experience.

3. Cory Littleton, Los Angeles Rams (Age: 26)

Cory Littleton is not going to come off the free agency market cheap but he is the top middle linebacker in this offseason’s class of players looking for a new home. His age certainly gives him major upside and the Eagles could possibly consider signing him to a big contract, although I would not expect them to pay heavily for a middle linebacker.

Whoever Littleton signs with, he will be a complete difference-maker and his athleticism is highly efficient. Littleton was tied for eighth in the NFL in tackles in 2019 with 134 and re-signing him should be a high priority for the Rams. If he hits the open market, Littleton is definitely a player the Eagles should keep their eye on to see if they can get him at the right price.
