5. Philadelphia Eagles

First off, if the Philadelphia Eagles truly want to land Ruggs in the upcoming draft, there’s a good chance the team will need to trade up for him now after the results from Indianapolis.

Despite all of the injuries at the wide receiver position last season, the Eagles still found a way to win the NFC East title for the second time in three years over the Dallas Cowboys.

Of course, just because Philadelphia found a way to make this work in 2019 doesn’t necessarily mean they will see similar results next season if they are still hurting at the position, which is why the draft will be so important to address the need.

Even if the Eagles decide to give it another go with certain players such as Alshon Jeffery or DeSean Jackson, the addition of a talented player like Ruggs could put the receiving corps in great position for years to come.

But as previously mentioned, with the way Ruggs stood out at the combine, the question for Philadelphia could become whether the wideout would be worth trading up for in the first round.

The Eagles could always risk seeing how things play out, but at the end of the day, if they truly want Ruggs, it would be devastating to see them miss out on the opportunity as a result of waiting until No. 21.
