4. Philadelphia Eagles

The Eagles finished the regular season on a four-game winning streak, slipping away with the NFC East title and a spot in the playoffs. If the Eagles want to make another trip to the postseason they will need their wide receivers to stay healthy and make more of an impact this season.

Each of the Eagles’ big-name wide receivers missed time on the IR, as Alshon Jeffery was the leading wide receiver with 490 receiving yards over the 10 games he played in. Now, Nelson Agholor is an unrestricted free agent, opening a spot that would fit Sanders well.

As the 2020 season status of DeSean Jackson and Jeffery are both up in the air due to their injuries, a slot receiver looks to be just what the Eagles need. If Sanders fits within the Eagles’ budget, don’t be surprised if they make him an offer.

3. Green Bay Packers

The Green Bay Packers are letting go of tight end Jimmy Graham and need a new veteran presence among their receivers. Aaron Rodgers is looking for the trick to get them back to the NFC Championship after the disappointing end to their 13-3 season and Sanders could be the answer. Davante Adams is the only Packers wide receiver that seems to have the same skill set as Sanders and Rodgers is always down for an upgrade.

Wide receiver Geronimo Allison was a letdown with only 287 receiving yards but he is set to hit the free-agent market this offseason. Sanders would fill in his role as a slot receiver and, as he did in San Francisco, attract defenders his way to make things easier for Adams and young receiver Allen Lazard.

The question is if the Packers will be aggressive enough to go after Sanders in free agency. They did good last offseason putting together the duo of The Smith Brothers on defense but the Packers may have other more pressing needs at linebacker, right tackle, and tight end. Sanders would make a strong impact in Green Bay with his veteran influence among their young group of receivers.
