5. WR Travis Benjamin (Los Angeles Chargers)

One of the best-kept secrets in the league in terms of the wide receiver positions continues to be John Brown. The impact he had on the Buffalo Bills’ offense and second-year quarterback Josh Allen cannot be understated.

More from NFL Spin Zone

After four seasons with the Arizona Cardinals, Brown moved on to Baltimore in 2018 and was an unsung commodity. He finished with 42 receptions for 715 yards and a team-high touchdowns grabs. And in his first season in Orchard Park, he picked up where he left off with the Ravens. He would lead Sean McDermott’s club with 72 catches and 1,060 yards and tied for the club lead with six TD receptions.

Brown’s big-play ability is complemented by Cole Beasley, who also joined the Bills as a free agent in 2019. But why not take advantage of Allen’s big arm with another big-play performer. This past season wasn’t kind to the eight-year pro as he was limited to only five games and six catches for 30 yards.

Still, Benjamin owns a 15.1 career reception average. There have been 208 catches for 3,143 yards and 19 TDs with the Browns and Chargers and can also help on punt returns. And he could be had for the right price.
