Tampa Bay Buccaneers: 10 Targets in 2020 NFL Draft to jumpstart Tom Brady era
9. Zack Moss, Utah
The free-agent frenzy has cooled down and the Bucs haven’t signed back yet. Tampa doesn’t have to take a back early with the depth of the running back position, especially with a running back like Zack Moss available.

What stands out about the former Utah Ute is his balance through contact. He absorbs hits and isn’t afraid to deliver them as well when tacklers come at him. The 5-9, 223-pound back has excellent girth and power to set the tone for an offense.
Moss is a tough runner with patients and a solid burst to exploit small creases with the ability to fight for tough yards. He squares up and finishes runs; often falling forward. While Moss is known for power, he has enough fluidity and quickness to make guys miss; his spin move to help him slip tacklers.
On third downs, he’s capable of handling duties as a pass blocker and a receiver. While he’s not the back teams covet in today’s NFL, he still holds value. Together with Ronald Jones, Moss would be the workhorse taking on the heavy load and wear teams down, leaving Jones to come in and gash them.
Because of the depth at the position and a bad 40-yard dash time at the Combine, there’s a chance Zack Moss could slip to late Day 2 or early Day 3 of the 2020 NFL Draft. Likewise, the Bucs could draft AJ Dillon from Boston College.
