Isaiah Wilson. 814. OT. Georgia. 2. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis

One thing that could hurt Green Bay this season is the loss of Bryan Bulaga, who went to the Los Angeles Chargers in free agency. They do still have a great left tackle in David Bakhtiari but ignoring the right tackle spot is a dangerous thing to do.

That’s why they use the 62nd pick in the second round on Georgia’s Isaiah Wilson. Right now, Wilson isn’t getting the love he deserves for two reasons. One is he plays on the less-heralded side of the line and the second is he was overshadowed by teammate Andrew Thomas — a top-15 talent at left tackle.

As for Wilson, he’s a mammoth at 6-6 and 350 pounds with 35.5-inch arms. And according to Joe Marino of The Draft Network, Wilson has some dominant traits and a high ceiling at the next level, as long as he cleans up some technique.

"An all-everything recruit, Isaiah Wilson started for two seasons at Georgia before declaring for the NFL draft. An impressive blend of size, mobility and power, Wilson has some dominant reps on tape as both a run blocker and pass blocker where his traits simply allow him to take over. With that said, honing in on the technical side of the game to maximize his rare physical gifts is critical for him to reach his ceiling at the next level."

The good thing about Wilson is as he stands now, he can be a starter for the Packers, and he will only get better with NFL coaching.
