5. Logan Ryan, CB

I’ve been banging the drum on this all offseason but the fact that there isn’t a more lucrative free agency market for Logan Ryan is absurd to me. With the Titans this past season, he was an absolute monster in every facet of the game working as their slot cornerback, affecting the game in every way possible. And at just 29 years old, he still has plenty left in the tank to keep that rolling.

Should the Titans do as predicted and bring in Clowney, it’s unlikely they’ll have the funds to re-sign Ryan. If that does turn out to be the case, a team like the Browns, who currently have the most remaining cap space in the NFL, would make a ton of sense. Denzel Ward and Greedy Williams are high-upside, young corners on the outside and adding Ryan in the slot would make for quite the secondary.

6. Devonta Freeman, RB

In essence, the Falcons traded Devonta Freeman for Todd Gurley as they cut the former to save money and then soon after signed the latter after his own release from the Rams. Outside of some minor injuries in recent years, however, Freeman wasn’t cut due to the fact that he can’t play but more because Atlanta couldn’t justify the amount of money they were paying him. Some team could still use his services.

We’ve seen some questionable running back deals this offseason (Melvin Gordon to the Broncos stands out in that regard) but others in need have stood pat to this point. While the Lions believe Kerryon Johnson can be their No. 1 back, adding Freeman to give their rushing attack a 1-2 punch after they dabbled with trading for him last year would make a lot of sense for Detroit.
