Alabama. 10. 42. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Offensive Lineman. Jedrick Wills Jr.. player

Current Pick: No. 13, No. 31

One can only imagine how difficult the offseason has been for the 49ers after coming up short the way they did in the Super Bowl to the Kansas City Chiefs, but at least Kyle Shanahan‘s squad should be a top contender in the NFC once again for 2020.

Without question, San Francisco’s defense rightfully received most of the attention for helping the team earn a trip to the Super Bowl, but Jimmy Garoppolo also deserves credit for bouncing back from a torn ACL.

Now, all eyes will be on Garoppolo to see if the 49ers star quarterback has what it takes to help his team earn another trip to the Super Bowl in Tampa Bay next February to help make up for what happened a few months ago.

Plenty of factors will come into play for the 49ers in 2020, but making sure Garoppolo receives the proper protection from the offensive line deserves to rank near the top of the list as well.

As far as the top offensive lineman from this year’s class is concerned, Jedrick Wills Jr. seems like a lock to be selected in the top 10 following a stellar career at Alabama.

A team like the 49ers could always use extra help with pass protection for Garoppolo, and with San Francisco already earning an extra first-round pick from the Indianapolis Colts, this could make trading up for Wills a stronger possibility.
