3. Cincinnati Bengals

Right now, the Cincinnati Bengals are in the midst of revamping their identity. They’re entering their second season with Zac Taylor as the head coach and while he and the team struggled mightily in his rookie season, they enter 2020 with the No. 1 overall pick. They’ve also been much more active in the offseason.

Cincinnati made some big moves in the offseason which included signing Vonn Bell, Mackensie Alexander and Trae Waynes in the offseason. They were criticized some for overpaying but in the past, they were far too hesitant to make a splash.

Add to that the fact that they’re all but guaranteed to draft LSU quarterback Joe Burrow and the Bengals could be a team on the rise before long. And what better way to continue to make a splash than to change their look?

The Bengals current look started in 2004 and has too much going on. Their colors are perfect considering they’re tigers but their orange and black jerseys have too large of a white stripe down the side which feels out of place. And they might have a few too many tiger stripes going on all over the place.

Unfortunately, they don’t have a whole lot of great past looks either to lean on for inspiration — especially considering they started out with old Cleveland Browns uniforms from when Paul Brown was forced out of northeast Ohio.

Even so, there are plenty of smart people out there who can put something together that will make fans happy and look good at the same time.
