2020 NFL Mock Draft: Unexpected first-round pick for each team
By Dan Parzych
Around this time last year, the Cincinnati Bengals were hoping the hiring of Zac Taylor as their new head coach would help bring out the best in Andy Dalton due to his previous experience working with Jared Goff.

One year later, the Bengals will most likely cut Dalton at some point to pave the way for someone new under center since they haven’t exactly been able to find a trade partner this offseason.
And even though most of the speculation at the moment is Cincinnati will go with Joe Burrow or Chase Young with the top overall pick, imagine if the Bengals decided to take a different approach at No. 1, they could always go for arguably the best cornerback from this year’s class.
Even though Jeff Okudah still has plenty to prove once his transition to the NFL becomes official as far as being the top cornerback from the 2020 class is concerned, his impact over the years with the Buckeyes shows exactly what he can bring to the table.
Cornerback obviously isn’t as big of a need for Cincinnati such as quarterback or defensive end to consider the position with the top overall pick, but at least if the Bengals were to make Okudah the option, this would easily put the defense in better shape at the position.
