Washington Redskins: Grading every pick in 2020 NFL Draft

The 2020 NFL Draft is finally in the books, so how did the Washington Redskins do? Let’s look at each individual pick and grade it out.
The 2020 NFL Draft was definitely a weird one. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, this year’s draft was done virtually. That led to a lot of craziness. Truthfully though, the draft went great. Everyone seemed to really enjoy the format. There were a few odd moments.
People weren’t too happy with the musical performances making them miss draft picks. The absurd amount of “tragic” stories was excessive as well. And the feed sometimes got awkward due to everyone having to stream in. However, the three days zoomed by and the Washington Redskins put together a strong class. Just how good was their draft.
We’re going to go through each pick individually and grade them. Then we will look at the draft as a whole if give them one final grade.
What’s fun about grades though is that they can always change. Circumstances will come and players will perform. That means in a year this draft could look vastly worse or better than what we all perceive it to be now.
So the best we can do now is predict. That means we’ll be looking at the talent of the players and how they fit into the scheme of Washington We’ll also need to look at the needs of the Redskins and if they filled them.
Finally, the value of the picks. Did they reach for a player? Or did a player fall to them? There’s a lot to look at when evaluating the draft. With that in mind, we should jump right in with their first pick. And what a home run that was…
