Indianapolis Colts: Grading every 2020 NFL Draft pick
Round 6, Pick 193: Robert Windsor, DL, Penn State
Grade: D
It’s not often you see a player drafted who averaged under one tackle per game. While Robert Windsor was a reliable high motor player, his lack of production doesn’t warrant a positive grade. However, he’s a gritty prospect with solid athleticism who works best as an interior rusher. He could stick around on special teams because of his length and motor.
Round 6, Pick 211: Isaiah Rodgers, CB, UMass
Grade: A
This was technically the Colts trading cornerback Quincy Wilson to the New York Jets for the sixth-round pick that turned into Isaiah Rodgers. Chris Ballard flipped a corner for an electric kick-returner who returned 53 kickoffs for 1,295 yards. Moreover, Rodgers snagged four interceptions and returned one for a touchdown. If he’s a special team contributor come Week 1, this was an excellent pick.
Round 6, Pick 212: Dezmon Patmon, WR, Washington State
Grade: A
Adding wide receiver depth isn’t likely in the sixth round most of the guys won’t get an opportunity to show what they can do. However, if Dexmon Patom is a guy who, if given the opportunity could come out as a productive player for the Colts.
At 6-4, 225 pounds, Paton ran a 4.45-second 40-yard dash. He has excellent length with a tough-guy attitude, good jump ball timing and smooth routes. He could be an effective big slot or moved to tight end.
Round 6, Pick 213: Jordan Glasgow, LB, Michigan
Grade: B
When a guy is undersized and positionless, it’s difficult to imagine him being drafted. However, the Colts saw something Glasgow that you can’t teach, toughness, tenacity, and resilience. He’s quick-twitch backer who knows where the football is. In fact, according to Pro Football Focus, no player tackled better than the former Wolverine.
