Baltimore Ravens schedule 2020: Picks, predictions for every game
By Samuel Teets
Week 10: Baltimore Ravens at New England Patriots
The Patriots represent another enigma entering the 2020 season. How good is Jarrett Stidham? How competitive do the Patriots plan on being this coming season? What exactly is Bill Belichick thinking? We have no clue what’s going on in New England, but there’s a fair chance the team ends up toward the top of the draft in 2021.
Prediction: Win
Week 11: Tennessee Titans at Baltimore Ravens
The Ravens lost to Mike Vrabel’s squad in the Divisional Round last year. Baltimore wants revenge, but they won’t get it in Week 11. Derrick Henry is the perfect counter to Baltimore’s steady running game. He can control the clock and make the Ravens take risks.
Vrabel’s defense also causes problems for Jackson. While the Titans lost some pieces on that side of the ball this spring, the former linebacker can find a way to alter Jackson’s usually reliable decision making. Jackson turned the ball over three times and took four sacks against Tennessee in the playoffs.
Prediction: Loss
Week 12: Baltimore Ravens at Pittsburgh Steelers
The Steelers are always a thorn in Baltimore’s side. After the Ravens swept the Steelers this past season, Pittsburgh gets a win against Jackson on Thanksgiving at Heinz Field. This game could easily go Baltimore’s way, but division games in the AFC North always produce a few unexpected outcomes each year.
This game should come down to whether or not Pittsburgh can contain Baltimore’s running game. The Steelers built a dominant defense last year, and the team took Baltimore to overtime in their first matchup last season. That was also a game Devlin Hodges and Mason Rudolph played. Adding Big Ben to the situation changes everything.
Prediction: Loss
Week 13: Dallas Cowboys at Baltimore Ravens
While the Cowboys built up an intriguing wide receiver corps by selecting CeeDee Lamb in the 2020 NFL Draft, Baltimore’s running game should keep Dak Prescott and company off of the field. Between rookie J.K. Dobbins, Gus Edwards, Justice Hill, Mark Ingram, and Jackson, Baltimore should run all over Dallas’ patchwork of a defensive line.
Prediction: Win
