Atlanta Falcons schedule 2020: Picks, predictions for every game
Week 1: Seahawks at Falcons
The first matchup of the regular season for Atlanta will come against a tough opponent in the Seattle Seahawks, but the good news for the Falcons is that it will come at home in Atlanta to kick off the year.
In the Sunday afternoon contest, Atlanta will open the season with a victory while out-dueling Seattle in a high-scoring affair. The fact that the Falcons will face off against the Seahawks, who annually gain more steam as the season progresses, will play in their favor.
Prediction: Win
Week 2: Falcons at Cowboys
Coming out of a grind of a victory in the season opener the week prior, the Falcons will get another tough opponent to begin the 2020 campaign, this time hitting the road for the first time of the year to face America’s Team in the Dallas Cowboys.

In another high-scoring contest, Atlanta will ultimately fall just short to Dallas as Dak Prescott, Ezekiel Elliott and company will end up being too much for the Falcons while the Cowboys defense will be able to do just enough on the Sunday afternoon to come away with a win.
Prediction: Loss
Week 3: Bears at Falcons
Atlanta will open up play in two straight weeks against NFC North opponents when the Chicago Bears come to town in Week 3 of the regular season.
The Falcons will be able to take down the Bears, who at the time will still be trying to find their true identity while deciding if Mitchell Trubisky will be able to lead the franchise as the quarterback for the rest of the season and into the future. Matt Ryan and company will be able to take advantage of the passing game in the Sunday afternoon showdown in Atlanta, improving to 2-1 overall going into Week 4.
Prediction: Win
Week 4: Falcons at Packers
The Falcons will finish up the first quarter of the regular season with their third dominant NFC opponent when they hit the road on Monday Night Football to face Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers.
The good news for Atlanta about facing Green Bay early on in the year is that it likely won’t be as cold at Lambeau Field as it tends to be later on in the regular season. But the Packers are still a very tough team to take down on their home field, and the Falcons will fall victim to Rodgers and company on the national stage to drop to .500.
Prediction: Loss
