Carolina Panthers schedule: 3 Best, 3 worst parts of the 2020 slate
By Zach Wilson
No. 3 Best: Week 14 – vs. Denver Broncos
Honestly, finding positive points in this schedule was tough. A rebuilding team with a tough schedule doesn’t leave a ton of room for promise.
On Dec. 13, we will have the joy of watching a Super Bowl 50 repeat. Well, at least the same logos and uniforms. These two rosters couldn’t be any more different from the time they faced off on that February night in 2016.

- Dallas Cowboys made the trade everyone else should have made
- Pittsburgh Steelers rookie sleeper everyone should be talking about
- Anthony Richardson putting jaw-dropping talent on display immediately

As much as Panthers fans would probably like to forget that night, this could be an opportunity to enact revenge on a rebuilding Broncos team. As much revenge as you can get out of a regular-season win compared to a Super Bowl at least.
The Broncos roll in with second-year quarterback, Drew Lock at the helm, and his brand new group of weapons to accompany him; Melvin Gordon III, Jerry Jeudy, KJ Hamler and, of course, the return of Courtland Sutton and Phillip Lindsay.
The Broncos definitely won’t be a walk in the park, it’s just simply one of the easier matchups for Carolina this year. The main advantage Carolina possesses, despite playing this one out at home, is that Denver will have played a hard-fought game in Kansas City the previous week, while the Panthers are coming off a bye.
This gives Carolina two weeks of recent and preparation, while Denver comes in having played arguably the best team in the league, just one week prior.
This shouldn’t be viewed as an automatic win, but as a Panthers fan, I would circle this game as one of those Sunday afternoons to get excited for.
