Chicago Bears: 3 Dream trade targets from 49ers before 2020 training camp
By Dan Parzych
1. Tevin Coleman
As much as the Bears want to continue believing that Tarik Cohen has what it takes to be the top running back on offense, last season was the perfect example this may be far from the case.
Even if David Montgomery turned out to be a great addition to the backfield in 2019 for Chicago, if the team were in position to bring on an extra weapon to work with at running back, this would work wonders for the offense.
After spending the beginning of his career with the Atlanta Falcons, the 49ers were able to get Tevin Coleman for an absolute steal in free agency prior to the 2019 season since the running back was willing to come on board for a two-year, $10 million deal.
Like most running backs, Coleman is one of those players who can be just as dangerous in the passing game when given the opportunity and benefitted from playing in San Francisco’s offense due to the team having multiple running backs to work with.
If Coleman were to join the backfield in Chicago that already consists of Cohen and Montgomery, the Bears would easily be in better position to return to the playoffs in 2020 for the second time in three seasons.
