8. Dak Prescott and Amari Cooper, Dallas Cowboys

Cooper and Prescott both put on career performances in 2019, but neither is an elite player at their given positions. Sure, the two can make Pro Bowls, but neither ever even approached playing at an All-Pro level. This duo is also suspect in big games, and they deserve criticism for pulling vanishing acts in clutch situations.

Prescott is a top-10 quarterback in the NFL, but he still needs to grow as a player. In a Week 16 battle for the NFC East crown against the Philadelphia Eagles last season, Prescott completed fewer than 60.0 percent of his pass attempts and did not throw a touchdown. Dallas lost 9-17 and subsequently missed the playoffs.

In that same game, Cooper only made four receptions for 24 yards. He’s also struggled against elite competition. New England’s Stephon Gilmore blanked Cooper during their Week 12 matchup last year. The Pro Bowl receiver also struggled against New Orleans’ Marshon Lattimore (Week 4), Detroit’s Darius Slay (Week 11), and Los Angeles’ Jalen Ramsey (Week 15).

Prescott faced similar challenges, throwing two combined interceptions and no touchdowns in his games against the Patriots and Saints. For now, Cooper and Prescott deserve respect for their consistent Pro Bowl production. However, if the duo continues struggling against elite competition, they’ll begin sliding down this list.
