Cleveland Browns. 19. team. 53. . .

Jimmy and Dee Haslam deserve a lot of credit. They pulled a fast one on us all and no one noticed. For years, the Cleveland Browns fanbase wanted a change in uniforms. With their look hardly changing from what they word since the 1950s, it was understandable. They wanted something new, something fresh.

That’s not what they got.

Instead, they got one of the most famously bad jerseys in NFL history. Fans hated the 2015 unveiling which was openly mocked as they made the orange a little more orange. They also had some big block letters on the jersey and the pants, which people loathed.

So, after sporting these for a few years, the Haslams touted new jerseys were coming. Then they teased and teased the fan base only to release the jerseys no one liked back before the 2015 reveal — and called it new.

The best part for the Haslams is no one cared. In fact, they were applauded for this one. And they should be. In the end, the only thing they changed was making the color rush uniform more simple and now everyone is going to rush out to buy moire jersey’s just like all the others in their closet.

While all that’s true, it doesn’t mean they’re a great uniform. They just made the fans happier. And we all have to admit, they’re better than their attempt at modernizing things.
