2. Tyler Boyd

To keep the passing game in better shape for years to come, the Bengals made an easy decision last summer by rewarding Tyler Boyd with a four-year, $43 million extension since he was coming off a career season the year before.

And with Green, unfortunately, missing the entire 2019 season due to injury, Boyd was relied on even more last year in the passing game after catching 90 passes for 1,046 yards (both career highs) to go along with five touchdowns.

While Cincinnati should see a major boost on offense with a healthy Green in 2020, there are some questions over whether Boyd’s numbers will decline a bit now that Tee Higgins is officially on board to provide Joe Burrow with another weapon at wide receiver.

For obvious reasons, the best-case scenario for the Bengals is all three receivers turn out to be the ultimate trio for Burrow to work with, but also this is a situation that Cincinnati could use to their advantage through a trade.

Since the Bengals are in much better shape at the wide receiver position, they can afford to move on from someone like Boyd if they felt the desire to if a team like the Buccaneers or someone else were to express interest.
