Las Vegas Raiders: Stealing one player from each AFC West rival
Stealing from the Denver Broncos: Von Miller, EDGE
Picking a player to steal from the Denver Broncos was the most difficult task out of the three teams in the AFC West. But ultimately, it was too tempting to not make Von Miller the choice.

When you look at the totality of Miller’s career, this is a no-brainer choice. Prior to the 2019 season, the Broncos pass-rusher had double-digit sacks in every season in which he played at least 15 games. Furthermore, according to Pro Football Focus (subscription required), he had never graded lower than fourth in the NFL among all edge rusher prior to last season.
Having said that, Miller is now 31 years old and was not his normally dominant self in the 2019 Broncos campaign. He registered eight sacks and 10 tackles for loss in 15 games. Furthermore, he ranked just 22nd among qualifying edge defenders in terms of PFF grade.
While that may be the case, I believe that Miller will bounce back in the 2020 season, his second under head coach Vic Fangio. Moreover, he’ll have more help on the defensive line with Bradley Chubb returning to the fold as well.
For the Raiders, though, Miller would be a coup. Las Vegas has added young talent on the edge in recent years but no one that seems to have the top-end potential of Miller. If the Raiders could add him, the veteran would undoubtedly fortify the defense in a major way.
