3. Trubisky already has a relationship with the receivers

Being the incumbent starter, Trubisky has a relationship with most of the receivers. Last season, Allen Robinson was the Chicago Bears’ leading receiver with 1,147 receiving yards. Also, after a slow start, Anthony Miller and Trubisky gelled a bit. Miller finished with 656 yards. The duo connected on some big plays that helped win games.

As the starting quarterback, Trubisky can also round up the receivers and work out with them. That’s exactly what he’s done. Robinson and running back Tarik Cohen are working with Trubisky. He’s also been working with the new guys as well. Wide receiver Ted Ginn Jr. and tight ends Demetrius Harris and Cole Kmet have worked with Trubisky and are impressed with their new teammate.

Harris says he knew nothing about Trubisky before meeting him. This is what he said about him, per SI:

"He’s a hard worker, man. I like him. What I see, I like him. Me personally, I like him…What I seen, work ethic, man, just trying to get on the same page as me and the other guys, really trying to hit the ground running. We all fighting for something."

Trubisky is taking full advantage of being the incumbent starter. Meeting with the receivers helps him before hitting training camp.
