Redskins: 5 New Washington NFL team names if change happens
Change Redskins name to: Washington Pigskins

Change Redskins name to: Washington Hogs
This might be a bit of a pipe-dream but it would be highly entertaining. The Hogs became synonymous with Washington’s NFL franchise in the 1980s and 1990s as it was the nickname for the famed (and feared) offensive line that led the organization to so much success. It has lived on with fans continuing to wear hog get-ups to every game at FedEx Field.
While the fans would pretty easily be able to get behind this one, it seems a bit unlikely to happen. There are plenty of negative connotations when it comes to the term “hogs” and, subsequently, it would probably not be the most prudent business move for Snyder and the front office to make.
