3. Alex Mack

Madden 21 rating: 89

Coming in at No. 3 on the list of top Falcons players rated by Madden 21 lies within the offensive line and Atlanta’s veteran center Alex Mack. Mack, who is the second-highest ranked player on the offensive side of the ball for the Falcons, received an overall rating of 89 leading into the new year.

Along with that overall rating, Mack received attribute ratings of 62 in speed, 78 in acceleration, 92 in strength, 68 in agility, 95 in awareness, 93 in run blocking, 81 in pass blocking, 70 in jumping ability, 98 in injury, 90 in stamina and 88 in toughness, to name a few.

During the 2019 season, Mack wrapped up his 11th season in the NFL and fourth with the Falcons. The six-time Pro Bowler enters his 12th year having once again appeared in all 16 regular-season games for Atlanta a year ago. During the season, the 34-year-old took the field for a total of 99 percent of the Falcons’ offensive snaps, finishing with a total of seven penalties on the front line.

Although it’ll be interesting to see just how many quality seasons Mack has left in the tank, the veteran will be a big piece for Atlanta in 2020 in trying to do a better job at protecting quarterback Matt Ryan to allow the high-powered offense to operate week-in and week-out.
