Madden 21 rating: 87

There’s no surprise here that Atlanta veteran quarterback Matt Ryan would crack the top five of Falcons players rated by Madden 21. Coming in at No. 4 on the list, Ryan received an overall rating of 87 from the video game going Into his 13th season in the NFL and with the Falcons in 2020.

Ryan, a four-time Pro Bowler, one time NFL All-Pro selection and former league MVP, was tagged with attribute ratings of 71 in speed, 80 in acceleration, 63 in strength, 68 in agility, 91 in awareness, 86 in throwing power, 98 in injury, 72 in stamina and 95 in toughness, to list a couple.

In his 12th season with the Falcons in 2019, Ryan once again managed to take the field for 15 of the 16 regular-season contests, not appearing in every regular-season game for the first time since 2009.

A year ago, the veteran quarterback led the charge of the Atlanta offense with 408 completions on 616 total throwing attempts, tacking on 4,466 passing yards and 26 touchdowns through the air. With a completion percentage of 66.2 percent and throwing for an average of 7.3 yards per passing attempt, Ryan threw for 14 interceptions during the year.

As the Falcons return one of the top offensive units in the entire NFL once again in 2020, expect yet another high-production year for the veteran quarterback under center in Atlanta.
