3. Can Adam Thielen thrive as No. 1 option in passing game?

For the last few seasons, Vikings wide receiver Adam Thielen has been paired within a dynamic duo consisting of now-former Minnesota wideout Stefon Diggs on the other side of the field. Although Thielen has had good performances over the past few years alongside Diggs, Thielen could step up even more during the 2020 campaign.

More from NFL Spin Zone

After the departure of Diggs this offseason when he was traded to the Buffalo Bills this offseason, Thielen will undoubtedly become the No. 1 receiving target within the passing game within the Vikings offense and that could result in the wide receiver becoming one of the top wideouts in fantasy football throughout the new year.

If Thielen can stay healthy, which he had a hard time doing during the 2019 season while dealing with a few different injuries, he should be a solid target around the field and especially in the red zone and could emerge as a top wideout in fantasy football once the year begins.

Thielen, who is entering his seventh season in the league and with the Vikings this year, appeared in a total of 10 games for Minnesota a season ago. The soon-to-be 30-year-old wideout recorded 30 catches for 418 yards and six touchdowns while also recording one rushing touchdowns. He missed six games for the first time in his career while dealing with a few different injury issues.

The 2020 campaign will be a big one for Thielen as he tries to lead a suddenly younger wide receiving unit on the offensive side of the ball yet again. And that could result in him being an intriguing option in fantasy football to produce in your lineup week-in and week-out.
