8. Denzel Mims to win Offensive Rookie of the Year (+2000, FanDuel)

No offense to Robby Anderson but he isn’t a No. 1 receiver. Remember, Sam Darnold was 7-6 last season with a horrid offensive line, no run game, sub-par receivers and a defense plagued with injuries.

The Jets drafted Mekhi Becton to protect Darnold and Denzel Mims gives the young quarterback the best WR1 he’s had thus far. If Le’Veon Bell can look like the All-Pro he was in Pittsburgh, that will open the passing game and give Mims a lot of opportunities to thrive; don’t count him out of the Rookie of the Year discussion.

7. Jonathan Taylor to win Offensive Rookie of the Year (+1000, FanDuel)

I absolutely love former Wisconsin running back Jonathan Taylor in a Colts uniform and it won’t be long before he is the feature back in this offense. While Marlon Mack will still get his own carries, Taylor behind arguably the best offensive line in the league.

Philip Rivers has traditionally welcomed help from his backfield and, playing with a familiar coaching staff and an elite weapon like the rookie running back, that shouldn’t be any different. The situation and talent for Taylor in the 2020 season make him impossible to ignore, especially with 10-1 odds.
