Chicago Bears: Matt Nagy needs to make a QB decision and stick to it
Is Nick Foles the Chicago Bears’ savior?
Enter Nick Foles. The Bears sent a fourth-round pick to the Jacksonville Jaguars in exchange for Foles’ services and the cache that comes with his name. His regular-season accomplishments are paltry but his legendary run to a Super Bowl title with the Eagles will forever be a part of NFL lore.

Foles played in just four games in 2019, was his usual accurate if unspectacular self in limited action and lost his job to sixth-round rookie Gardner Minshew.
So to summarize, Matt Nagy has the unenviable choice between a young quarterback in dire need of a confidence boost and a veteran who only seems to show up in January and February. Foles has shown an ability to throw the ball downfield and is familiar with the Nagy offense from his days in Kansas City but is not a threat to run the way Trubisky is.
Trubisky is the more erratic of the two but if he can rediscover his dual-threat ability from 2018 then he gives the Bears offense an added wrinkle that defenses must account for.
Perhaps the Bears envision Trubisky as a game manager type but they need to show the confidence in him to empower him to make plays when absolutely necessary.
