Green Bay Packers 53-man roster prediction, Offense

QB (3): Aaron Rodgers, Tim Boyle, Jordan Love

Rodgers is the unquestioned starter at quarterback. The backup is the main talking point. Boyle has been better than Love during training camp, plain and simple. In an uncertain time, keeping three quarterbacks is a must.

RB (4): Aaron Jones, Jamaal Williams, A.J. Dillon, Tyler Ervin

Like last season, Jones and Williams will form a nice one-two punch. Dillon, the team’s second-rounder this year, has looked the part during training camp. The only question is can he be relied on in pass-protection?

WR (5): Davante Adams, Allen Lazard, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Jake Kumerow, Equanimeous St. Brown

Not many surprises here. Valdes-Scantling has been the Packers’ most impressive player on offense according to multiple reports. Kumerow makes the roster thanks to his blocking ability in the running game.

TE (4): Robert Tonyan, Jace Sternberger, Marcedes Lewis, Josiah Deguara

Tonyan appears to have the upper hand at being TE1 entering Week 1. Sternberger could eventually surpass him as the year goes on. Lewis is there largely for his blocking presence. Deguara will play a fullback/hybrid role.

OL (9): David Bakhtiari, Elgton Jenkins, Corey Linsley, Billy Turner, Rick Wagner, Lane Taylor, Lucas Patrick, Jon Runyan, Alex Light

The Packers keep nine offensive linemen, but it wouldn’t be surprising to see 10 when it’s all said and done. Rookie center Jake Hanson has been mightily impressive, but is he impressive enough to keep on the initial roster?
