2. Jared Cook will rack up 100+ yards and a TD

Monday is going to be a big day for Jared Cook. With Michael Thomas out for a few weeks, someone has to step up and I predict Cook will be the one. Last week, Cook only recorded five receptions but for 80 yards and zero touchdowns. This week, I look for Cook to have his first touchdown of the season and finish the game with at least 100 receiving yards.

Cook has truly gotten better with age and being with the Saints only amplified that. It will be interesting to see Cook facing off with the Raiders after he played for them. Considering his chemistry with Drew Brees and his veteran experience, the Raiders should be ready to play full coverage of him. If not, then no doubt we’ll see Cook have a similar day to Darren Waller.

1. Drew Brees will toss 3 TDs with no interceptions

Thus far, Drew Brees has been perfect and put up decent numbers against the Bucs. He finished the game with 160 yards and two touchdowns but I expect bigger numbers against the Raiders. More importantly perhaps, he won’t make any mistakes against a suspect defense.

In total, I predict Brees will throw for at least 250 yards along with three touchdowns. Even with Michael Thomas out, he still has a lot of good options to throw to. Last week, Alvin Kamara and Emmanuel Sanders both nabbed touchdowns. However, I look for Brees to open up the playing field and throw at least two touchdown passes to different receivers.
