4. Los Angeles Rams vs Philadelphia Eagles
Carson Wentz and Jared Goff will forever be linked to one another due to their draft position. The Los Angeles Rams traded a king’s ransom to move up to No. 1 for Goff while the Philadelphia Eagles traded up to No. 2 and selected Wentz. But while each team has been to a Super Bowl since, the stories for each have been unique.

In the second NFL season for Wentz, he was playing at an MVP-caliber level and helped guide the Eagles to the playoffs behind 33 touchdowns and just seven interceptions. Unfortunately, he led them to the playoffs but didn’t get to play in the postseason. An injury forced Wentz out and Nick Foles became a Super Bowl hero as he brought a Lombardi Trophy to Philadelphia.
Injuries have been an issue for Wentz but, now healthy, his 2020 season got off to a troubling start. In a shocking loss to Washington, he had 270 yards and two touchdowns but with two interceptions and eight sacks.
In the case of Goff, the Rams quarterback has been a bit of a rollercoaster. He didn’t start immediately as a rookie but was bad when he did get in. Sean McVay’s arrival, however, seemingly changed the trajectory of Goff’s career. The quarterback was leading an elite offense and took them to a Super Bowl, though they lost to New England. However, they seemingly took a step back and missed the playoffs after that appearance.
Beyond the matchup between the top two picks in the 2016 NFL Draft, this is also an intriguing game between these teams. The Eagles need to get a win after their tough loss to start 2020 while the Rams look to show dominance against another NFC East club after dispatching Dallas in primetime last week.
