Bold predictions for the Atlanta Falcons in their Week 3 matchup with the Bears.

In the third week of the 2020 NFL season, the Atlanta Falcons are still on the search for their first victory of the year. After a brutal collapse last week in the Week 2 contest on the road against the Dallas Cowboys, Atlanta remained winless in the new season while turning its focus to changing that in Week 3 this Sunday back at home.

On Sunday afternoon at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, the Falcons will take the field against another NFC opponent when they welcome in the undefeated Chicago Bears into downtown Atlanta.

While one team looks to grab its first win of the year, the other is trying to avoid losing for the first time in 2020.

For Atlanta, it is coming off of a 40-39 heartbreaking last-second loss to Dallas a week ago, a game it blew in the final quarter highlighted by head-scratching late-game execution that resulted in the Cowboys completing a comeback. With the loss, the Falcons dropped to 0-2 overall on the year.

In the game, Atlanta had a ton of positives to exit the game with early in the first half, jumping out in front of Dallas right out of the gate. The Cowboys answered back ferociously, including scoring 16 points in the final handful of minutes, to claim the victory and hand the Falcons yet another loss.

On the other side of the field in Week 3, the Bears are coming off of a 17-13 win over the New York Giants last weekend in Chicago.

In that game, Chicago jumped out to a 17-0 advantage in the first half and cruised to a win while holding off New York to improve to 2-0 overall and into a tie with the Green Bay Packers for the top spot in the NFC North division.

With the stage set for the Week 3 matchup between the Falcons and Bears on Sunday afternoon, here are three bold predictions that will take place for Atlanta during the game at home.
