Stud: Dalvin Cook

Coming into Week 3, it was important more than ever for the Vikings to get their star running back more involved on the offensive side of the ball. After not receiving too many touches in the first two weeks of the year, Cook was involved early and often and made an impact right out of the gate for Minnesota.

More from NFL Spin Zone

In the game, Cook finished with a team-best 22 carries for 181 yards, which is a career-high for the running back, also getting into the endzone once.

This Vikings offense performs their best when Cook is getting touches and is involved like he was in Week 3. That was the biggest difference-maker compared to the first two games of the season for Minnesota.

Dud: Turnovers on offense

By the end of the game, the Vikings finished with three turnovers on that side of the field, giving Tennessee a few more opportunities than it should have had in the game.

Dalvin Cook started things out with a fumble recovered by the Titans in the first half. To begin the second half, Kirk Cousins threw an interception — which was initially a pick-six that was negated due to a penalty — that allowed Tennessee to take over. Cousins threw another interception at the end of the game to finish with two picks.

There were some positives to take away from the game for Minnesota, for sure, but it still needs to shore some things up when it comes to turnovers moving forward.
