Baltimore Ravens: Studs and duds from Week 3 vs. Chiefs
Stud: CB Marlon Humphrey
He’s quickly established himself as one of the premier players at his position and is arguably the most physical cornerback in the league. Baltimore Ravens standout Marlon Humphrey was a busy man on Monday night in having to deal with quarterback Patrick Mahomes and the big-play weapons of the Kansas City Chiefs.

He played a solid game despite the fact that Baltimore’s defense was lit up for 517 total yards and Mahomes threw for 385 yards and four scores. He finished with six tackles vs. the Chiefs and was also credited with one quarterback hit and two passes defensed. The 2019 Pro Bowler and All-Pro made his presence felt despite his team’s long evening.
Dud: QB Lamar Jackson
It was a rough evening for the 2019 NFL MVP and somewhat reminiscent of the 28-12 home setback to the Titans in the divisional playoffs. While Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson did not have a slew of turnovers, he looked uncomfortable as a passer and really felt the heat in the fourth quarter.
Credit the Kansas City defense for that but the bottom line is that Baltimore’s offensive unit managed only one touchdown on Monday night. Jackson ran for 83 yards but barely hit on 50 percent of his passes (15-of-28) for 97 yards and one score. But he was also sacked four times and fumbled twice, losing one of those miscues. “Kryptonite” indeed (courtesy of ESPN’s Jamison Hensley).
