4. Seahawks win by two scores

The Dolphins rise and fall with Ryan Fitzpatrick’s level of play. The 37-year-old gunslinger posted passer ratings over 100 in each of the past two weeks, and the Dolphins have a plus 15 point differential during that time. However, Fitzpatrick threw three interceptions during a horrendous Week 1 performance, and the Dolphins lost 21-11.

If Fitzpatrick continues his hot streak, this prediction probably won’t come true. Fitzmagic is unpredictably lethal, which should keep the Seahawks on their toes. However, I’m willing to bet he has a down day, and Seattle pulls off a significant victory.

3. The tight ends finally get involved

Before the season started, I labeled Seattle’s tight end room as one of the best in the NFL. Between getting Will Dissly back from injury and signing Greg Olsen, I thought the Seahawks could emphasize targeting tight ends this season. Instead, Seattle hasn’t utilized the position much. After three weeks, the team’s top three tight ends have 16 receptions for 117 yards.

Tyler Lockett and Metcalf are eating most of the offense’s targets, but even Chris Carson has more receiving yards than Seattle’s leading tight end. Olsen has the most receptions and yards of the team’s three primary tight ends, but he hasn’t played a meaningful role yet. However, Dissly is by far the biggest disappointment.

Last season, Dissly looked like he might become a breakout player, but injuries cut his year short. The 24-year-old only has five receptions and 22 yards in 2020. If the Dolphins find some way to take away Lockett and Metcalf, we might finally see Seattle’s tight ends take on significant roles in the passing game.
