Bold predictions for the Minnesota Vikings as the 0-3 club visits Houston in Week 4.

At the quarter mark of the 2020 NFL season, the Minnesota Vikings are entering arguably their most important game of the new year. After three weeks of the season that resulted in Minnesota not coming away with a win yet in 2020, the Vikings look to finally get into the win column while trying to get the season back on track during Week 4 this weekend.

Minnesota, which has dealt with some uncertainties this week leading up to the upcoming slate of NFL games, will hit the road for the second time this season while aiming to finally get out of the winless hole early on in the season.

The Vikings will depart Minneapolis, where they are 0-2 on their home field of US Bank Stadium, to look to improve on a 0-1 road record when they battle against the Houston Texans on Sunday afternoon in Week 4 in Houston.

Minnesota comes into the game having dropped its second straight home game of the 2020 season in Week 3 following a narrow 31-30 loss to the Tennessee Titans in Minneapolis.

In that loss, the Vikings were able to jump out to an early lead in the first half of that game and looked to have a handle on things to secure the first win of the year. The Titans, however, didn’t go away and ended up pulling ahead late before hitting a field goal in the final minutes to go ahead for good and steal the contest.

As a result of that defeat, Minnesota moved to an ugly 0-3 overall on the season and to the bottom of both the NFC North and NFC standings. The Vikings are currently the only team without a win in the NFC North alongside Green Bay, Chicago and Detroit.

On the other side of the field in Week 4, Houston is entering the game with an equally as rough start to the year while also holding a winless record of 0-3 overall.

The Texans are coming off of a 28-21 loss in Week 3 on the road against the Pittsburgh Steelers. That game finished up a three-game stretch that included playing Kansas City, Baltimore and Pittsburgh to open the regular season.

In the loss, Houston dropped to a winless record and to the bottom of the AFC South standings after Pittsburgh came from behind and scored 11 unanswered points in the second half last weekend to pull out a win on its home field.

Before Minnesota and Houston battle in a game featuring two 0-3 teams in the NFL, let’s take a look at three predictions that will take place for the Vikings on Sunday afternoon on the road in Houston.
