Best DraftKings Week 4 values: Running Backs
In addition to the aforementioned Kamara and Henderson, a number of great value plays are ripe for the picking at the running back position this week. If Kamara is the Bugati, then Ezekiel Elliott (DAL vs. CLE, $7,800) and Dalvin Cook (MIN at HOU, $7,600) are the Ferrari and Lamborghini in this week’s lineup of high-performance machines.
More from NFL Spin Zone
- Dallas Cowboys made the trade everyone else should have made
- Pittsburgh Steelers rookie sleeper everyone should be talking about
- Anthony Richardson putting jaw-dropping talent on display immediately
- Denver Broncos’ stud wide receiver might be out for a while
- Washington Commanders: Three takeaways from win over Ravens
Both are obviously advisable starts, but tremendous value is available at the position at a discount of over $1,000. Jonathan Taylor (IND at CHI, $6,600) and James Robinson (JAX at CIN, $6,500) should both command a horseload of touches; they may be slightly less chalky than Kenyan Drake (ARI at CAR, $6,000), who should likewise feast against a weak run defense.
Joe Mixon (CIN vs. JAX, $5,800) has a great matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars but caught a Questionable tag earlier today as a result of a late-breaking chest injury. If he plays, he should be in lineups. If not, Giovanni Bernard (CIN vs. JAX, $4,400) suddenly becomes a tempting target, given his receiving prowess in this PPR scoring format.
David Johnson (HOU vs. MIN, $5,600) is a much safer pick at an even lower price. Meanwhile, with Leonard Fournette out, Ronald Jones (TB vs. LAC, $4,700) should see enough volume to post a solid return on a very modest investment.
Two other running backs to keep an eye on: potential workhorse Devin Singletary (BUF at LV, $5,900) and pass-catching specialist Travis Homer (SEA at MIA $4,000). Singletary becomes a solid value if Zack Moss, a gametime decision, misses his second straight game; Homer could knock it out of the park at his price if injuries keep Chris Carson and Carlos Hyde out of their Week 4 game against the Miami Dolphins.
