When Will the New York Giants Get Their First Win?

The Giants were dealt a blow when they lost former No. 2 overall pick Saquon Barkley for the season and they obviously haven’t rebounded. The Giants did almost beat the Cowboys in Week 5 and have played other teams tough; they just haven’t gotten the win to show for it yet.

Of course, they did get the doors blown off of them by second-stringers for the 49ers, so that’s not a good look.

New York is only in year two of the Daniel Jones era, but if they end up with the No. 1 pick, they should have no problem moving on from him and drafting Lawrence instead. It’d be the no brainer decision for this organization.

Here are the next five games for the Giants:

  • Football Team
  • at Eagles (TNF)
  • Buccaneers
  • at Football Team
  • Eagles

Fortunately for the Giants, they play in the hapless NFC East, so they’re going to get at least a win or two in their division because of how bad the teams are. They get two cracks at the Eagles in the next five games, but my prediction as to when the Giants will get win No. 1 is this upcoming weekend against Washington.

Since the Football Team went 1-0 to start the year, they’ve been pitiful ever since. The Giants might be bad, but Washington is bad too. This is a game that no one wants to watch, but it very well could be when the G-Men get their first victory of the 2020 season.
