5 Best NFL games to watch on Sunday in Week 6
By Lucas Schuh
1. Atlanta Falcons vs. Minnesota Vikings
If you like shootouts, this game is the one for you.
Dan Quinn is now gone from the Atlanta Falcons after an 0-5 start to this season and after struggling to a 1-7 start to last year as well. Even still, the Falcons are loaded with potential, especially offensively. Matt Ryan, Julio Jones and Calvin Ridley comprise an elite passing attack and, with Jones hopefully getting healthy, they have the opportunity to exploit a Vikings pass defense that has been downright bad to this point in the season.
While the Vikings have had their own struggles to start the season, they have shown similar juice at times. Their rushing attack remains good, even with Alexander Mattison filling in for Dalvin Cook in this game. Moreover, rookie wide receiver Justin Jefferson has stepped up to try and fill the void left by the Stefon Diggs trade, giving this offense some firepower. They too have a great matchup in this one as the Falcons defense has been every bit as bad this year.
Any NFL fan who loves defensive struggles should avert their eyes from this matchup in Week 6. Atlanta should be able to throw all over the ailing Vikings secondary but Minnesota has the talent and the matchup to answer that. Expect a big number on the scoreboard from both teams, which should make for an electrifying affiar on Sunday.
