Atlanta Falcons bold predictions for their Week 7 matchup with the Lions.

After a disastrous start to the 2020 NFL season highlighted by five straight losses to open the year, the Atlanta Falcons were finally able to get into the win column in Week 6.

A week ago on the road in Minnesota, the Falcons took down the Minnesota Vikings to finally put that losing streak to bed while getting the first win of the regular season.

In Week 7, Atlanta will square off against another NFC North squad in hopes of making it two wins in a row while returning home to Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.

The Falcons welcome in the Detroit Lions on Sunday afternoon for a battle between two below .500 teams Atlanta comes into the contest at 1-5 overall while also holding a home record of 0-3 so far in the 2020 campaign.

The Falcons are coming off of a 40-23 win over the Vikings in Week 6, a game where Atlanta certainly didn’t look like a winless team against the struggling Minnesota team.

In that victory, Atlanta jumped out to a commanding lead early on the road, carrying a 20-0 advantage at halftime, while pacing to a 17-point win after adding 20 more points over the final two quarters.

On the other side of the field, the Falcons will face a Lions team that sits at 2-3 overall and is also coming off of a win a week ago on the road. Detroit has also won two of its last three games after opening the season off with two straight losses.

Last Sunday, the Lions topped the Jacksonville Jaguars 34-16 behind scoring 17 points in each half to pull away with an 18-point win.

With both teams looking to win two straight and continuing the winning ways going on Sunday afternoon, let’s dive into three bold predictions that will occur for Atlanta while battling Detriot in Week 7.
