team. 30. . . Previous: 32nd. New York Jets. 32

The good news for the New York Jets in Week 7 was that they got quarterback Sam Darnold back after he missed the past two games with a shoulder injury. The bad news is, they didn’t look much better with him than they did with Joe Flacco.

More from NFL Spin Zone

Darnold was off in this game as he completed just 12 of 23 passes for 120 yards with no touchdowns and two interceptions. He was under constant pressure from the Buffalo Bills defense as he was sacked six times, which also led to one fumble — although the Jets did at least recover that.

Despite their struggles on offense, the Jets defense walked out of this one with their heads held high. They surrendered a lot of yardage as Josh Allen had 307 yards and the Bills running game went for 126 (61 of which came from Allen) but they never let them punch the ball in for six. With the Bills not scoring any touchdowns, the Jets had a shot in this one but rookie kicker Tyler Bass knocked in six-of-eight field-goal tries.

This proved to be just enough for the Bills, but for the Jets, they now find themselves staring at an 0-7 start. It’s safe to say that they’re the worst team in the NFL right now as they continue to camp out at the 32nd spot in our 2020 NFL Power Rankings.
