2. Aaron Rodgers and company will have their way again

Going into Week 8, veteran quarterback Aaron Rodgers and the Packers have their offense rolling and appearing to be one of the top units in the NFL to begin the 2020 season.

Through six games leading up to Sunday afternoon against the Vikings, Green Bay is averaging 32.8 points per game, which ranks second in the NFL behind only the Seattle Seahawks (33.8). The Packers have also managed to tally an average of 393.7 yards per game (eighth in the league).

Specifically in the passing game, Rodgers hasn’t taken any sort of step back in his lengthy NFL career as the Packers quarterback, ranking near the top in the NFL in multiple categories.

In six contests, the veteran quarterback has thrown for 1,657 yards (15th in the NFL), throwing for 17 touchdowns (third-best in the league) while only throwing two interceptions under center.

In Week 8 against Minnesota, Rodgers and company will have their way once again against a struggling Vikings defense that is coming off of giving up 40 points to the Falcons in Week 6. The Vikings have given up an average of 32.0 points per game to opposing teams, which is the third-worst mark in the NFL.

In the 43-34 win for Green Bay in Week 1 against Minnesota in Minneapolis, Rodgers threw for 364 yards and four touchdowns, completing 32 of his 44 pass attempts during the game. In the second matchup on his home field on Sunday afternoon, Rodgers will once again torch the Vikings defense throughout the matchup.
