DraftKings NFL Week 8 values: Running Backs

Out of all running backs priced $7,000 or higher, we’re opting for Derrick Henry (TEN at CIN, $8,000). The Bengals are a team in disarray, so if we have to explain ourselves here, our prayers are with you.

More from NFL Spin Zone

From the $6,000 to $6,900 tier, we like Kareem Hunt (CLE vs. LV, $6,900), as he’s no longer listed on the team’s injury report, as well as Josh Jacobs (LV at CLE, $6,200), who seems criminally undervalued this week. Both backs should benefit from gamescripts that will call for bumps in usage due to the weather.

We’re also fans of Jonathan Taylor (IND at DET, $6,600) and Jamaal Williams (GB vs. MIN, $6,100) at this price point. I have Taylor ranked as a Top Five running back in Week 8, and Williams has risen up my rankings now that Aaron Jones has been officially ruled out of this week’s contest.

From the lower tier, we like D’Andre Swift (DET vs. IND, $5,300) and JaMycal Hasty (SF at SEA, $5,000), but we’d rather roll with J.K. Dobbins (BAL vs. PIT, $4,600), who’ll get a chance to shine with Mark Ingram on the shelf, and Le’Veon Bell (KC vs. NYJ, $4,600) in a revenge game special.

From the bargain bin, we’re keeping an eye on LaMical Perine (NYJ at KC, $4,300) and Deejay Dallas (SEA vs. SF, $4000) in GPP formats. Perine should continue to see his role in the offense grow, while Dallas is the only healthy running back of note on the Seattle Seahawks roster.
