DraftKings NFL Week 8 values: Wide Receivers

The wide receiver position is arguably the most important of all to nail down; it’s far easier to overcome a bad game at the tight end position, but with so many wideouts putting up big numbers each week, a single-digit score here really stings. For that reason, we require high-floor options at the position in cash games, and look for high-ceiling matchup plays in GPPs.

In addition to Adams, we have a hard time passing over DK Metcalf (SEA vs. SF, $7,500) and Tyler Lockett (SEA vs. SF, $7,100) as far as high ticket options go. However, there are a ton of terrific values in the $6,000 to $6,900 range.

Along with Jefferson, our favorites in this tier include A.J. Brown (TEN vs. CIN, $6,900), a great pairing with Tannehill, as well as Keenan Allen (LAC at DEN, $6,200), who stacks nicely with Herbert. In cash formats, we also like Tyler Boyd (CIN vs. TEN, $6,600), Cooper Kupp (LAR at MIA, $6,500), and Robert Woods (LAR at MIA, $6,300).

From the value tier ($5,000 to $5,800), we absolutely love Brandon Aiyuk (SF at SEA, $5,800). The rookie out of Arizona State should be a target monster, given that Deebo Samuel will miss this week’s matchup against a terrible Seattle Seahawks secondary.

In addition to Beasley’s high floor, other value plays we’re eyeing in this price range include Tee Higgins (CIN vs. TEN, $5,600), Diontae Johnson (PIT at BAL, $5,500), and Chase Claypool (PIT at BAL, $5,200). We’ve also noticed the out-of-nowhere seismic shift of A.J. Green’s (CIN vs. TEN, $4,500) involvement in the Bengals’ passing game, and we also love Mike Williams (LAC at DEN, $4,400), who’s a terrific value at his price,

From the bargain bin, we like Kendrick Bourne (SF at SEA, $3,500) and Marcus Johnson (IND at DET, $3,000) as GPP targets. The former can be stacked with Garoppolo, while the latter is a cheap yet respectable final piece who’ll fit into a lineup filled with studs in other slots.
