30. . . Previous: 32nd. New York Jets. 32. team

Play on Monday Night Football vs. New England Patriots

There’s no doubt which team comes in at No. 32 this season since no one has struggled as much as the New York Jets have. They’re 0-8 heading into Week 9 and had a home game against the New England Patriots. And while the Pats have been struggling this season, it would be incredibly hard to pick the Jets to win this one — especially following the news that Sam Darnold will be out with a shoulder injury.

For Darnold, it continues a trend of him missing time as he played in just 13 games in each of his first two seasons and this will be the third that he will sit out in 2020. Couple that with his declining play and it gives even more credence to the belief that the Jets will take Trevor Lawrence out of Clemson with the first overall pick ‚— which is something they should have nothing locking up.

Of course, the one issue is that Lawrence might not be willing to play for New York. There have been rumblings that he doesn’t want to play for the Jets, which is understandable since they’ve turned into quite the bumbling organization. And they might be in even worse shape if they continue to believe Adam Gase is part of the solution.
