Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. player. QB. Florida. Kyle Trask. 25. 57

With the 25th pick, the Chicago Bears make a statement as they move on from both Nick Foles and Mitchell Trubisky as they take Kyle Trask out of Florida. Should Trask be a first-round pick? Maybe not, but the Bears need to improve under center if they ever plan to take advantage of their strong defense. Trask should at least be able to keep the offense on task, which would make them contenders.

30. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Rashod Bateman. player. WR. Minnesota. 26

(Pick via Seattle Seahawks): Back on the clock for the second time in the opening round, the New York Jets grab Rashod Bateman from Minnesota. While it seems they may give up on Sam Darnold, they were guilty of giving him no help at all. They can’t do the same thing with Trevor Lawrence and that’s why they grab the Golden Gophers top wideout here. Bateman is a solid route runner with excellent hands, who should have no problem developing into a No. 1 receiver in the NFL.

DT. player. 26. Scouting Report. Florida State. Marvin Wilson, Jr.. 27. Pick Analysis

Lamar Jackson has slowed down some this season, but he will get back on track. The Baltimore Ravens offense will have some rough outings due to how they are built but they’re a team that will always have success, especially as the weather turns.

One reason for that is their nasty defense. And that defense stays strong due to the resources they dedicate to that side of the ball, which is why Marvin Wilson, Jr. is the pick here. Wilson is a force for the Seminoles and will instantly improve the Ravens already strong front-seven.

WR. 28. 49. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Purdue. Rondale Moore. player

Aaron Rodgers is having an MVP season. Imagine if the Green Bay Packers would have gotten him a weapon to work with instead of a backup quarterback in the first round in 2020. Here, that’s exactly what they do with Purdue’s Rondale Moore. While he hasn’t played yet in 2021, Moore is an intriguing prospect who excels when it comes to yards after the catch. He would be a great complement to Davante Adams and could be dangerous catching passes from Rodgers.
