2020 NFL Power Rankings, Week 11: Patriots stun Ravens, Cardinals win on Hail Murray
By Randy Gurzi
They play in one of the more visible cities in the entire world but there’s not a lot of noise or splash going on with the Los Angeles Rams this season. That doesn’t mean they’re not having success, because they are. It’s just that the Rams aren’t getting the attention they deserve.
That could change after their latest game as they got themselves a statement win over the Seattle Seahawks. Entering the game, the Seahawks were in first place in the NFC West with the Rams looking up at them. L.A. wasn’t phased by this as they were in control throughout the majority of the contest.
A Kai Forbath field goal put them up 3-0 and after an Alex Collins touchdown gave Seattle the lead, the Rams took it back for good with a Darrell Henderson touchdown in the first — and they never looked back. It was the first of three rushing touchdowns for the Rams and it took a Jason Myers field goal with less than 30 seconds to go to make it look close.
The most impressive part of this win was the defense as they held the ‘Hawks to just 16 points. In the process, they forced three turnovers out of Russell Wilson and Jalen Ramsey rendered D.K. Metcalf ineffective. Now the Rams are in a three-way tie with the Seahawks and Cardinals with less than half the season to go.
