DraftKings NFL Week 11 Values: Defense/Special Teams

Premium Tier ($4,000 and up): The Pittsburgh Steelers (PIT at JAX, $4,600) earn their status as the highest priced defense and special teams unit on DraftKings in Week 11. That’s a lot of cash to drop on a defense, however.

Mid-Tier Values ($3,500 to $3,900): The only defense in this tier this week is the Baltimore Ravens (BAL vs. TEN, $3,500). It’s not a terrible play on paper, but we just can’t get excited about spending this much on a defense that put up more than 4 fantasy points just once since Week 6.

Value Tier ($3,000 to $3,400):  The Minnesota Vikings (MIN vs. DAL, $3,300) face a Dallas Cowboys offense that has given up more points to opposing fantasy defenses than any other over the last four weeks. Even if Andy Dalton returns, it won’t be pretty, especially with Ezekiel Elliott continuing to nurse a nagging hamstring injury.

Bargain Bin (Under $3,000): We can certainly make a case for the Philadelphia Eagles (PHI at CLE, $2,800), Houston Texans (HOU vs. NE, $2,600), or even an anti-Taysom Hill contrarian play of the Atlanta Falcons (ATL at NO, $2,300). Our favorite option in this tier, however, is the formidable front seven of the Washington Football Team (WAS vs. CIN, $2,900).

The Football Team has notched five or more sacks in two of their last three games, and they welcome rookie Joe Burrow to town. Burrow has had a sensational rookie season but has been a bit flat lately: he hasn’t thrown for more than 250 yards in a game since Week 7, and should be constantly under pressure on Sunday.

Best Buy: The Miami Dolphins (MIA at DEN, $3,400) are our defense of choice for the price. This unit is better than advertised and faces a Denver Broncos offense that’s been out of sync, to be kind. Between Drew Lock’s busted ribs and the possibility of Brett Rypien under center, an already generous offense could serve up a ton of points to those who can fit the ‘Fins into their DraftKings lineups.
